First Commonwealth wants to help children understand more about their money. To learn how money grows, children can access a link to “How can I save for a Million Dollars” calculator.  This tool shows youths how money grows and compounds over time, until the goal is reached.       

We have also attached a Presidential quiz for children to test their skills on Presidential history.  Children can submit their quiz to any First Commonwealth Office to see how they scored on their quiz. 

As a child starts saving their change, they can come into one of our coin counter locations to use our new coin counter machines to change their coins into dollars and deposit the cash into their Tower Savers Account.  The coin counting machine is a free and fun service to help children learn to save. 

If your child has an interest in collecting coins, First Commonwealth offices now have available the new $1 Presidential Coin set featuring Presidents Washington, Adams, Jefferson and Madison. This is a great way to further your child’s interest in saving and investing.
